Having started her art training at Somerset College of Art, Lynne went on to do a Degree Course at Bath Academy of Art, Corsham, followed by a Diploma of Education at Bath University.

As a professional Artist and Designer, her career has covered a wide range of subjects, including: human, animal and bird portraits; buildings; machinery and vehicles (vintage and modern); landscapes; seascapes; and skies, some featuring Concorde; as well as graphic design, book illustration and calligraphy commissions.

Lynne works in a variety of media, including oils, acrylics, watercolours, soft pastel, oil pastel, pen and ink, and pencil.

For several years she has been a part-time lecturer of art and calligraphy to adults, and now runs private courses, workshops and demonstrations in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, and the South West of England.
